Erin O'Connor had £12,000 stolen by assistant

A trusted aide to Erin O'Connor has pleaded guilty to stealing around £12,000 from the supermodel over three years.

Only six months into her job as PA, Michelle Knox-Brown, 46, began using Erin's credit card to make cash withdrawals in order to fund a lavish lifestyle.

Entrusted to look after the face of M&S's daily diary, Michelle used the cash to fund holidays to Marrakech, India, Gibraltar and California.

She had even ordered a bathroom suite with the money before her deceit was uncovered.

The 32-year-old model, who has walked the catwalk for some of the biggest names in fashion, became suspicious over extravagant taxi bills.

On Monday, Michelle pleaded guilty to two counts of fraud – on the basis that she stole £10,251.32 from cash and credit cards and spent £1,607 on taxis.
