Chelsy Davy not at Kate's 'low-key' hen party

Her fiancé opted for a distinctly top-secret, intimate stag night.

And Kate Middleton followed in the footsteps of Prince William, apparently celebrating her last few weeks as a single woman with a discreet party at a friend's home several days ago.

A source close to Kate said of the occasion: "She has already had her hen night, but it was certainly very low-key.

"It was done privately."

Organised by her sister and maid of honour, Pippa Middleton, the hen party apparently consisted of close friends.

Olivia Beasdale, who shared a flat with Kate and William at St Andrews, attended - along with fellow member of the Sisterhood dragon boat crew, Alicia Fox-Pitt.

However, Prince Harry's former girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, who was thought to be close to Kate, was apparently not amongst the guests.
