Gene Hackman involved in tussle with homeless man
Gene Hackman was said to be acting in self-defence when he slapped an aggressive homeless man, according to the New Mexico police department.
The incident occurred in the star's hometown of Santa Fe, as a homeless man in question was becoming increasingly aggressive towards the Oscar-winning actor and his wife.
The 82-year-old has won two Academy Awards and been nominated for three others over a career that has spanned five decades.
