Some of the world's hottest music divas have joined forces for a multimillion pound soft drink campaign, donning sexy gladiator gear as they champion the slogan "Dare For More" in TV adverts.

The promos for beverage giant Pepsi feature Beyonce Knowles, Britney Spears and Pink in skimpy chain mail and gold-trimmed battle dress, while the sole male pop star in the commercial – Latin heart-throb Enrique Iglesias – plays the part of an evil Roman emperor.

Any true rivalries amongst the foursome are apparently left for the advertisement, according to Britney, who sang the praises of her fellow chart-toppers. "I'm such a huge fan of Pink and Beyonce," she said. "To be in their company is very cool."

The pricey campaign isn't the only high-profile series of Pepsi adverts that will be screened this year. Hunky footballer David Beckham has renegotiated his £5-million contract with the company, agreeing to a whopping £15-million deal to star in new spots co-starring fellow soccer superstars Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos, Francesco Totti and Raul.

Advertisements featuring Beyonce and her musical cohorts will be aired starting February 1.
