Back in March 2002, when HELLO! spoke to star, now 45, Kylie was getting ready to go on a UK-wide tour in support of her eighth album, Fever, and talked about she had always felt like an adolescent.
The KylieFever2002 tour was at the time the biggest production Kylie had put on in Britain and involved numerous set and outfit changes to compliment hit songs such as Can’t Get You out Of My Head and Love at First Sight.
After leaving the popular soap Neighbours in 1987, she released a string of hits albums which included the popular tracks I Should Be So Lucky, Hand on your Heart, and Especially for You, a duet with her Neighbours co-star Jason Donovan.
In 2005, chameleon Kylie, who has gone through many transformations in her 27-year career including dance diva and indie darling, discovered she had breast cancer and cancelled her worldwide Showgirl tour.
She came back fighting to resume the concert dates later that year and in the subsequent years has gone on to produce three more albums and perform four more international tours.
Now one of four judges on BBC’s hit reality show The Voice, during a recent live chat with fellow judge Ricky Wilson Kylie showcased her new positive state of mind, adding that she planned to “go into the future with abandon.”
Also on our 5th March 2002 cover, the Duchess of York showed off her new trim look, and model and photographer Penny Lancaster talked about her relationship with crooner Rod Stewart whom she married in 2007 and now has two young children with.
Coronation Street stars Sally Lindsay and Jennifer James also talked to HELLO! proving they were best of friends off screen, despite playing enemies on screen as Shelley Unwin and Geena Gregory.
