The mom-of-four's rare remarks over the rumored family feud came after she commented on her cousin Amy's post which featured a series of pictures from sister Jill's baby shower.

Amy had hosted the shower with Jill's mother- and sister-in-law, and Jessa was in attendance, leaving a message that read: "It was so fun celebrating this new life."

"Loved seeing you!" replied Amy to which one follower wrote: "Any reason you didn’t share photos of her sisters that were in attendance so it wouldn’t look as if they did not come?"

"Please let’s not assume there’s a negative motive behind everything we do and do not do," retorted Jessa.

Others praised Amy for the sweet set-up, with one writing: "Love the beautiful love you two have for each other & the support you give one another."

Cousins Amy and Jill have become firm friends after Jill stepped back from the family's now-canceled TLC show amid claims from her husband Derick Dilard that her father withheld money from his children over their years.

Jill and Derick have also stopped following many of the family's strict beliefs; the Duggars are devout independent Christian Baptists, who pride themselves on their conservative outlook.

They follow strict guidelines in their day-to-day life, including no alcohol and no bare skin on show, and men and women are not allowed to be alone together unless married.

Kissing, hand-holding and other physical signs of affection are often not allowed until a couple's wedding day, and all couples must have chaperones present on their dates.

Jill and Derick have, however, sent their sons to attend public school, and have chosen to wear more revealing clothing, drink alcohol, and speak out about birth control.

The pair tied the knot in 2014 and share sons Israel, seven, and Samuel, four.

Jill is expecting their third child; in 2021 they revealed that they had suffered a miscarriage.

"We recently found out we were expecting our third baby. We were thrilled! However, a few days later we started miscarrying," Jill shared with fans.
