Known for her distinctive looks, Sia rocked another outrageous outfit and wig in her new music video for her song ‘Gimme Love’ ahead of performing at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

WATCH: Sia debuts bold new look

The Australian star, 47, donned a larger than life curly wig which shrouded her face, repeating a classic motif in her aesthetic. The platinum blonde wig was made up of tight curls and featured a large pastel bow. She wore a huge oversized dress — which appeared to be poofy sheep's wool or human-like hair — that covered her body completely.

Sia is well known for her offbeat looks. Often she wears large wigs and monochrome clothes, a criteria she fulfils in her new music video as she turns out a trademark Sia look. She takes a playful approach to how she looks.

In a 2015 interview with Kristen Wiig for Interview magazine, she explained: “I'm trying to have some control over my image. And I'm allowed to maintain some modicum of privacy”, in terms of her aesthetic which sees her face covered often.

“But also I would like not to be picked apart or for people to observe when I put on ten pounds or take off ten pounds or I have a hair extension out of place or my fake tan is botched. Most people don't have to be under that pressure, and I'd like to be one of them."

The music video for her latest single, ‘Gimme Love', involves people dressed in all white dancing around happily. It teases her tenth studio album Reasonable Woman which is slated to come out in spring 2024.

Earlier this year though, she’ll be performing ahead of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2023 awards on date November 3rd at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. She’s performing alongside a list of heavy weight musicians, with the likes of Stevie Nicks, Elton John, Dave Matthews, Missy Elliott and Sheryl Crow taking part.

The latter two are nominated to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year among the likes of the late George Michael, A Tribe Called Quest, Cyndi Lauper and Willie Nelson.
