Breakfast

Food is fuel, but so is caffeine for Jennifer who says when it comes to the first meal of the day, it's "coffee, coffee and more coffee".

While she normally drinks it black, she admits she is a fan of an almond milk cappuccino too.

The mom-of-three says she gets fixated on breakfast and will stick to the same one for years before finding another she loves. "Right now," Jennifer said: "It's "full fat yoghurt, berries and nuts."

What is Jennifer Garner's favorite snack?

Jennifer is constantly on the go, so she keeps a snack in her purse for when she gets hungry. Her quick fix is an apple, "cut up and put back together" so as to avoid rubbing her lipstick off by taking a bite into the whole thing.

Jennifer uses this produce for her lunch which consists of, "arugula salad, dark greens, chopped up veggies and whatever is fresh in the garden".

She adds brown rice, cheese, nuts or sweet potato for a healthy and hearty midday meal.

Dinner with the kids

Dinnertime is family time with her three children, Samuel, Seraphina and Violet - who she shares with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck.

While she loves spending time in her kitchen - and with one like hers we can't blame her - Jennifer claims she's not a good cook.

For this reason, she calls dinner "mom food," which will appeal to her kids and to her palate too. "I don't consider myself a good cook or a baker, and I do not have the gift of making anything cute…," Jennifer told Bazaar. "But I do like to cook and bake for people I love, especially for my kids."

She relies on recipes by Ina Garten - including roast chicken, beef Bourguignon or a simple salmon dish - but also loves takeout. Her go-to pizza might surprise you though as she says she adds salad on top of it.

Does Jennifer Garner eat dessert?

Jennifer admits she has a sweet tooth and her go-to dessert is a scoop of ice cream with a drizzle of homemade Magic Shell chocolate coating on top.
