Whether you’re a baby person or a dog person, Princess Eugenie’s most recent photo is bound to make you melt inside. The royal marked Earth Day with the sweetest series of images, mainly featuring her son August. Yet, one photo shared by the princess starred another special guest – who had an adorable link to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

In a blossom-filled photograph shared by his mother, August was seen walking beside his father Jack Brooksbank in the countryside. Young August, who looked cute in camo, faced away from the camera and was gently held by his dad who sported a grey hoodie and black trousers.

The star of the show however was one of the Queen’s beloved corgis, who trotted ahead of the family. The famous pup made the most of the mild spring weather as he/she strode through swathes of cherry blossom with their royal minders. No doubt the pet made an excellent canine companion for Princess Eugenie’s only child.

Alongside the image, Eugenie wrote in part: “Photo 6: Because I love them and they love nature.”Royal fans were delighted with Eugenie’s wholesome Instagram post that celebrated Earth Day – and not just because of her furry friend. Princess Beatrice has yet to share any official photos of her daughter, Sienna, but her younger sister, Princess Eugenie gave fans a glimpse of the 18-month-old in an adorable picture alongside her cousin.

In the first image from the series, August can be seen standing next to Sienna during a family trip to London Zoo. The image marks the first time August and Sienna have been seen together publicly and they already look like the best of friends.

Both children have their backs to the camera with their hands pushed up against a glass enclosure as they admire some penguins. Just like their parents, the young duo are most definitely animal lovers.
