Reese Witherspoon joins forces with lifestyle brand The Home Edit ahead of new Netflix show

Reese Witherspoon has joined forces with lifestyle brand The Home Edit after appearing on their Netflix series Get Organized with the Home Edit.

Reese's company Hello Sunshine announced the acquisition of the brand, founded by Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, and plans to increase their content and commerce offerings, as well as creating more ways for audiences to engage with the brand.

"After working alongside Clea and Joanna for years and watching them develop their remarkable brand and business, we are thrilled to officially welcome the incredible The Home Edit team to Hello Sunshine," said Reese.

"The Home Edit has connected with audiences in so many meaningful ways through their brilliant content and product offerings.

The Home Edit launched in 2016 and offers a full service organizing homes in nine cities across the US – DC, Detroit, LA, Miami, NYC, Nashville, Orange County, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco – as well as travel and DIY services available globally.

They also have a series of collaborations including with Walmart, and their Netflix documentary series will debut its second season in 2022.

Reese launched her own lifestyle and fashion brand Draper James in 2015, and in 2016 launched Hello Sunshine, a production company which focuses on telling female-driven stories on film, TV and digital platforms, including Little Fires Everywhere, and The Morning Show.

"We’ve been such huge fans of Hello Sunshine for years and had the pleasure of working alongside them on our Netflix series," said Clea and Joanna.

"They share our vision for what’s possible as we continue to grow The Home Edit and we’re overjoyed to be able to build the next chapter of this company together."

The news comes after the pair teamed up with  women’s fashion retailer Maurices to offer the "Ultimate Closet Refresh" to one lucky winner.

As well as a trip to Nashville, where the Home Edit is based, the winner will receive a brand new Maurices wardrobe along with an in-person closet makeover and organization help.
