Cat Deeley's latest This Morning outfit just shows how versatile her style is; one minute, she's uber glam at this year's National Television Awards in a bright red and purple gown and the next, she's giving autumnal vibes with her This Morning look. There's not an occasion this woman doesn't know how to dress for.
Cat took to her presenting duties on Thursday's show wearing a casual Boden Check Blouse that had all the shades of autumn. Her latest blouse is a fan favourite, the popular Boden Violet Cotton Top. If you thought checks were only for those off-duty days, let Cat be your guide as to how to wear them with style through autumn.

Cat's styling of the checked blouse is a fine example of how to smarten up a more casual top. The blouse, in its deep burgundy and navy shade, is a brilliant way to dip your toes into an autumnal palette without going full on moody tones. It's also elevated from a classic shirt with gathered cuffs, frill detailing and a more fitted shape.

Cat's crisp, dark denim Donna Ida Minnie jeans feature a belt detail and gently flared leg, giving the whole ensemble a 70s look without being fancy dress. Boden stock a very similar pair, for a fraction of the price at £119, with patch pockets and a wider leg.
We can't quite see what footwear Cat's added, but I am hazarding a guess that it's a heeled almond toe boot in dark brown or burgundy. Embrace a boot in non-black shades for autumn, as it instantly softens an outfit while still acting as a neutral. With these jeans, I'd advise you keep it minimal like Cat. Chunky yes, but without too much bulk.
In fact, this is a look Cat calls her "uniform". "My go to when I can't think of anything else to wear. Donna Ida jeans and some pretty blouse situation. I like this one from Boden because its got girly sleeves and it's quite boysy on the top," she told her Instagram followers. We agree, especially with the unpredictable weather - it's warm, yet cooling and not going to be too chunky to wear when the weather takes an unexpected sunny turn.
Get The Look For Less
Cat's not alone in loving this Boden blouse. It's in and out stock of all sizes, so I've found some brilliant versions on the high street to copy Cat's look.
Monsoon's Ruby Check Blouse is £55, and similar moody colours to Cat's. This one though as a round collar and elasticated cuff, mirroring Cat's idea of a checked blouse with a point of difference.
The Hobbs Aisha Check Blouse is another great lookalike, which actually has a removable pussybow blouse tie at the neck - so you can make it even smarter if needed.
Cat's recent outfits
True to form, Cat's made a super stylish return to This Morning following the summer break. She turned to ME EM earlier in the week for a super chic tweed two piece, which she herself said about it: "The 70s are so back!" The boucle red and black shell top can be worn like Cat, with the matching palazzo pants.

This time, she wore a burgundy jacquard sleeveless top and matching pleated trousers, both in a slinky diamond material from Reiss. You can wear the pieces together but I love the idea of the top with jeans, and the trousers with a classic crew neck or knit. "Loved wearing the slinky set," Cat wrote on the post.
