Newlyweds Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have opted for a romantic island destination to chill out after their recent nuptials. They spent their wedding night at Sydney's Park Hyatt hotel before flying off to French Polynesia in a private jet to begin their no-expenses-spared honeymoon.
Country music star Keith and his beautiful bride landed on beautiful Bora Bora in the Society Islands and were met by staff from the newly-opened St Regis resort, where they are expected to stay for a week according to Sydney's Daily Telegraph newspaper. Edged by powdery white sand and a tranquil lagoon, the super-elegant resort in the South Pacific has 100 sumptuous guest rooms and beach villas, many with their own pool.
As befits Hollywood royalty, Nic and Keith are believed to have splashed out on Royal Estate accommodation, reported to cost around $15,000 a night, where they can reminisce about their big day in total privacy. The uber-luxurious, 13,000-square-foot pad boasts a 24-hour butler service, personal chef, jacuzzi, pool and a private beach overlooking the island's stunning lagoon.
The honeymooners are not entirely alone, however, as the Oscar-winning actress has taken along her personal security guard Sonja Zollman, who will then return with them to Nashville where the couple are due to be based.
