How celebs keep their kids entertained

19 DECEMBER 2012 How is it the end of 2012 already?! It only seems like yesterday that we were beginning to panic about what to get the kids for Christmas, and before we’ve even had a chance to catch up, we’ve probably all been running around frantically trying to find cheap kids clothing for the festive period. Now, the Christmas holidays are great but after the buzz of opening presents has passed, how do you keep your little ones busy? We thought we’d take a peek at what our fellow celeb mums and dads have been up to, to give you some inspiration.

How celebs keep their kids entertained

Peter Andre
So, how does Peter keep Princess and Junior entertained? Well, forget baking at home, Peter has taken this to a whole new level by keeping his little ones entertained at cupcake decorating classes. It’s totally worth a try if you don’t want to worry about the mess that will be made in your kitchen, plus your little ones will be thrilled at the thought of designing their very own professional cupcakes.

Victoria Beckham
Posh Spice certainly knows how to have stylish downtime with her kids. She’s been known to fly her little ones individually on trips. Most recently, she flew Romeo, ten, out for a mother-son bonding day in Paris. They strolled through the lovely Tuileries Garden and no doubt spent a fortune on extravagant clothing. The photos showed that both looked super swish and we couldn’t decide who was the most stylish out of the pair.

Jessica Alba
The gorgeous Jessica Alba spends her time teaching her little ones new, valuable life skills. The Honey star was recently papped teaching her 4-year-old daughter Honor how to ride a bike. This is a great challenge to set your little ones, and a bike would make a fantastic Christmas present.

Michael McIntyre
The cuddly comedian says that, to relax, he hangs out with his kids. He’s especially into playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 with his two children Oscar and Lucas. Michael seems to have the balance right as he says he only lets his children play on games consoles on rainy weekends.

Una Healy
The gorgeous yummy mummy gave birth early this year and admirably jumped straight back into work, filming in the US for The Saturdays new reality TV show Chasing the Saturdays. She was seen looking gorgeous in LA wearing a ditzy print playsuit, keeping her gorgeous daughter Aoife Belle entertained whilst perusing the boutiques. They made an adorable pair, although we’re not quite sure who was having the most fun.

So, before you begin buying winter school shoes from Matalan in the January back-to-school rush, you might find some inspiring last minute Christmas school-holiday boredom fixes from our superstar friends. We love seeing these busy celebs taking time out to spend with their kids; it makes them seem more down to earth. We’d love to see how these superstars deal with the nightmare of getting the kids ready and out the door by 8am every morning.
