After four years together, Brian McFadden and his fiancée Delta Goodrem have gone their separate ways.
The former Westlife star and the Australian singer announced the news of their mutual breakup in a joint statement.
"This decision has been made with a lot of soul searching from both parties with the realisation they have grown apart," it read.
"They leave the partnership with respect for one another, wishing each other success and happiness for the future".
The couple said that while they appreciated there would be "interest" in the announcement, they hoped for "privacy during this time of transition".
Australia's Got Talent judge Brian, 30, and Delta, 26, met in 2004 when they dueted together on Almost Here.
They started dating in 2007 and got engaged later that same year.
Recently they have been spending increasing amounts of time apart – he has been based in Australia while she has been working on a new album in LA.
Since news of their spilt broke, Brian has paid tribute to his ex on Twitter, writing: "I love Delta and always will.
"She is one of God's living angels. I thank her for giving me the best years of my life. Please give us time x"
