Friends and famous co-stars gathered to pay their last respects as Dennis Hopper was laid to rest in New Mexico on Wednesday.
Jack Nicholson and Peter Fonda, who both starred with Dennis in 1969's Easy Rider, made the trip from LA to say goodbye to their friend.
"It was a very singular relationship I had with him, like nobody else," said Jack. "We were soul mates in a way. I really miss him."
Peter, meanwhile, had spoken about his friend prior to the funeral, saying he felt "blessed by his passion and friendship."
The touching two-hour ceremony included a reading of Walt Whitman's poetry by Dennis' son, Henry Lee.
The Oscar-nominated star passed away at his home in California on Saturday after a battle with prostate cancer. Click here to see Dennis' life and Hollywood career in pictures.
