Her TV appearances on both sides of the Atlantic have shown Sarah Ferguson as an empathetic and caring woman, and the Duchess was demonstrating her kind-heartedness once again this week.
Passing by a homeless man as she left a London restaurant - where she had been dining with ex-husband Prince Andrew - the 49-year-old immediately stopped to do her bit for charity.
The Duchess borrowed money from the Prince's security personnel to purchase the magazineas she didn't have any loose change with her.
A strong believer in working to help improve fractured areas and lifestyles, Sarah is currently working on her new TV show, titled The Sarah Ferguson Project, in which she aims to inject more community spirit into a local housing estate.
