David Hasselhoff is 'fine' after being taken to hospital

David Hasselhoff's spokeswoman has released a statement confirming the former Baywatch star is "fine and well and happy" following reports that the 56-year-old was rushed to hospital on Saturday night with alcohol poisoning.
 
The announcement came after it was reported in the US media over the weekend that the TV star was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical centre after his 16-year-old daughter Hayley found him unconscious at his home and called his ex-wife Pamela Bach.
 
"He's recovering," a source told RadarOnline.com. "Pam was at his bedside until 4am this morning. This is about the seventh time he's been taken to a hospital over the last few years with alcohol poisoning"
 
The father-of-two, who has had a well-publicised battle with drink problems, was said to be more than four times over the legal limit for driving in California
