Ian McKellen and Dereck Jacobi 'reuknight' for sitcom
Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Derek Jacobi have teamed up to star in a new sitcom.
The acting veterans will play a bickering gay couple in ITV 1's Vicious next year.
Written by Will and Grace scriptwriter Gary Janetti and award-winning writer Mark Ravenhill, the programme will tell the story of an ageing actor, played by Ian, and his relationship with his partner after living in a cramped Covent Garden flat for almost fifty years.
Gary, who has also written for the award-winning cartoon Family Guy, said: "I'm incredibly excited to be working with ITV and this unbelievable cast."
