Miley Cyrus: 'I don't really care about the wedding'

Miley Cyrus has spoken about how much she is enjoying her engagement to Australian actor Liam Hemsworth.

The 19-year-old, who formerly starred in Disney's hit show Hannah Montana, said "Life is too short not to be with the person you want to be with," adding:

"I don't really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we've made to each other. And we want to have a long engagement."

The duo, who announced their news in June, first met – and fell in love while filming The Last Song in 2010.

Miley expressed how content she is in her relationship by saying: "Neither of us is super jealous. We know each other and would never do anything to hurt each other."
