Jean-Christophe Novelli announces plans to wed again

Three years after meeting by chance in an airport, celebrity chef Jean-Christoph Novelli and his fiancée Michelle Kennedy are set to walk down the aisle.

Jean Christoph and Michelle, an art teacher, are already parents to a 14-month-old son together named Jean Frank Patrick Kennedy.

"I've never been in love before and I've never had a wedding with someone I want to spend the rest of my life with," the Frenchman, who has been married twice before, told the Mail.

He added that he rejected the idea of a quick wedding just because the couple were having a baby.

"I thought 'What's the urgency?' Michelle knows how I feel, I treat her like my wife. If I die she gets everything!"

The 48-year-old has also revealed how he was due to cook at the nuptials of the late Keith Floyd, who was planning to wed his long-term love Celia Martin.

"The Sunday before he died, he told me he was going to marry her," he said. "Marco (Pierre White – who will act as Jean-Christophe's own best man) and I were going to do the cooking."
