Charlie Sheen has admitted that he was "in total denial" after he was fired from Two And A Half Men.
The 46-year-old actor had a public meltdown in February 2011, where he made controversial remarks about show creator Chuck Lorre and ranted about "winning" and "tiger blood".
"Clearly, a guy gets fired, his relationships are in the toilet, he's off on some tour, there's nothing 'winning' about any of that.
"I mean, how does a guy who's obviously quick-sanded, how does he consider any of it a victory? I was in total denial," he told US magazine Rolling Stone.
Charlie, who has been replaced by Ashton Kutcher on the hit series, has no regrets about his troubled past, particularly his battle with substance addiction.
"I don't see what's wrong with a few drinks. What's your drink? Mine's vodka. Straight, because I've always said that ice is for injuries," he said.
