Fresh from her stellar performance in Oscar-nominated family drama The Kids are All Right, Julianne Moore has signed on to portray Sarah Palin in a new HBO film.
The project is an adaptation of the best-selling book Game Change about the 2008 US presidential campaign.
It focuses on when the former Alaskan governor joined the John McCain ticket as the vice presidential candidate.
Although there have been no reports on who may be joining the Boogie Nights star, sources are predicting an all-star cast.
The announcement comes at a time when many are speculating that Sarah Palin may run for president herself in 2012.
