Kyle Johnson, the former boyfriend of Charlotte Church, has been sentenced to at least 12 years in prison after £10million worth of heroin was found at his home.
After 300lbs of the illegal substance was found among £24,000 cash in his East London residence, Kyle initially went on the run before later handing himself into the police.
The 24-year-old, who previously served a jail sentence for violent disorder, dated the Welsh songstress for 18 months.
After their split in 2005, the former trainee hotel manager sold intimate details about the couple's relationship to a Sunday newspaper.
Charlotte is now in a long-term relationship with rugby player Gavin Henson and the pair have two children together.
