A week after welcoming her second son into the world, Billie Piper and her husband Laurence Fox have revealed his name.

The new arrival is called Eugene Pip - Lewis actor Laurence posted on his Twitter account.

He also gave a sneak peek of his new son, posting adorable pictures of the one-week-old's feet and hands.

Just like for their first son Winston – who is now three – the couple picked a traditional first name.

There has been speculation his middle name is a tribute to the character Pip from Charles Dickens' classic Great Expectations.

Following Eugene's birth last Thursday, Laurence tweeted: "One born every minute. We had our minute today. Couldn't be happier. Beautiful boy. Everything fine."

Laurence wed Billie in December 2007 a year after they met while starring in West End play Treats.
