Sir Lloyd Webber eyes Katherine Jenkins for musical role
Music mogul Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber has revealed he is so taken with Welsh mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins that he is considering writing a West End show just for her.
Although the pair have never worked together before, the theatre impresario is convinced they would make a good team.
"I would love to do something for her," he says. "She's pretty special. I know her very well but we have never worked together."
"She's very beautiful and a wonderful personality with a great voice," he adds.
And if the collaboration didn't work out, it seems Sir Andrew already has a role in mind for the 29-year-old blonde. "She would be good in My Fair Lady," he says.
