Jeff Brazier, the father of Jade Goody's two sons, has vowed to keep her widower Jack Tweed from seeing the children.
The dad-of-two has made the decision while 22-year-old Jack remains in custody after being accused of raping a teenage girl.
"With everything that’s happened, it’s just proved too much for me to ever imagine Jack seeing the children again," Jeff says.
"I don’t say that as a punishment to Jack. I say that as the father of my children. They just deserve a lot better."
Before she passed away in June, reality star Jade had made clear her wish to let Jack keep seeing Bobby, six, and four-year-old Freddie.
"I respect Jade’s wishes, but it’s my right to put a little common sense into the equation," the GMTV presenter says.
Jeff has also revealed that Jack was only making a "token effort" with his step-sons after Jade's death.
"He only saw the kids a handful of times."
