Peter Andre relieved as Katie Price gives BRITs a miss

A potentially awkward moment was averted at this year's BRIT awards when Katie Price decided to give the ceremony a miss.

With Peter Andre on interviewing duty, it was likely the pair would have come face to face at the event.

But despite tweeting her excitement about attending, Katie - pictured launching her new fashion range - was a no show.

According to reports, the former glamour model decided to stay home after organisers advised her against going.

They feared a showdown between her and ex-husband Peter.

Relations between the pair have been strained lately, as they've clashed publicly over issues relating to their children.
