Gary Oldman to star in 'RoboCop' remake
Gary Oldman and Aimee Garcia are just a few of the A-listers that have joined the cast for a remake of Eighties classic RoboCop .
Also starring Abbie Cornish and Samuel L Jackson, the new version will retell the tale of a scientist who saves a police officer by changing him into a cyborg crimefighter.
Michael Keaton is playing the film's villain, Raymond Sellars, the CEO of Omnicorp, the corporation that builds RoboCop.
The original, released in 1987, was regarded as a cult classic.
The remake is scheduled for release in 2013.
