Injured Katie Price pulls out of equestrian event

Model turned businesswoman Katie Price, aka Jordan, was forced to cancel her participation in a celebrity polo match at the British Open Show Jumping Championships in Birmingham at the weekend.

The keen horsewoman was forced to sit out the competition after hurting her knee.
 
Eager not to disappoint fans, the celebrity, who's been riding since the age of seven, managed to pose for photos and sign autographs.  

Katie, seen here at the Hickstead championship in 2008, announced ambitions to compete in the 2012 Olympics after purchasing six mounts. She also showed off her dressage skills at last year's Horse Of The Year event on a steed named Jordan's Glamour Girl
