Doctor Who star Elisabeth Sladen passed away on Tuesday aged 63 following a battle with cancer.
Tributes have poured in for the actress, who also starred in the spin-off CBBC children's show, The Sarah Jane Adventures.
Leading them was former Doctor Who writer Russell T Davies, who brought Elisabeth back to the hit TV series in 2006, saying it was "an honour to have worked with her."
"It's devastating, it's no age at all is it? All of us who worked on Doctor Who and Sarah Jane are just reeling at the moment," he added.
Meanwhile, fans and celebrities alike took to Twitter to express their condolences.
Jonathan Ross said: "'RIp Elisabeth Sladen aka Sarah Jane. Sad news."
