The Jackson family are going through a hard time at the moment, awaiting the imminent trial of late Michael's doctor which has been postponed to September.

But Janet Jackson is putting on a brave face, and she stepped out in Cannes for the AMFAR event looking radiant.

She wore a Haider Ackerman teal top and aubergine skirt ensemble, her color block look broke up with a blue ribbon tied around the waist.

Her satin number, which was cinched in at the waist, flattered her curvy figure, the plunging neckline adding a risqué edge to the otherwise demure outfit.

Janet celebrated her birthday on Monday, and asked fans to donate to AMFAR – an annual dinner and auction that raises money for Aids charities.
