Spandau Ballet finalising plans for documentary

Reunited Eighties group Spandau Ballet were celebrating more than their forthcoming UK tour in Cannes. They're about to make a movie.

Brothers Martin and Gary Kemp, Tony Hadley and the rest of the band are currently finalising plans for a movie which will look back at their successful careers.

"It will be a feature-length documentary with us talking about everything that's happened over the years," songwriter Gary Kemp tells the Sun. "We won't shy away from tackling the bad times. We've got quite a history, and there have been great highs and lows."

At the end of the Nineties the band fell out over royalty payments, but they've since rebuilt their friendships. "It took a while but it's amazing what beer can do," joked singer Tony Hadley. "It's been nice to bury the hatchet, but not in each other's heads"
