Katy Perry celebrated her success at the Billboard Music Awards with a very special someone.
The singer attended with a date she described as “hotter than the Las Vegas weather” – her grandmother Ann Hudson.
After lighting up the red carpet, Katy put on a spectacular performance at the ceremony, where she also picked up a Spotlight award.
While Katy was on a high, the night belonged to British singer Adele.
She scooped 12 gongs - but unfortunately wasn't able to collect her trophies.
There were plenty of other winners on hand though, including Justin Bieber.
He ensured it was a night to remember for one lucky high-school student after inviting her along as his date.
Cady Einer, 18, became the envy of girls around the world when she accompanied Justin to the awards ceremony.
She had been asking the superstar to go to her prom with her for several years, but he had always had to decline.
"I couldn’t make it (to the prom) so I said, I need you to flu to the Billboard Awards and you can be my date," he told People.
"She's a big fan and I thought it would be fun!"
