Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr to tie the knot
British actor Orlando Bloom and Australian model Miranda Kerr have announced their engagement.
Thirty-three-year-old Orlando's publicist confirmed the news, putting an end to months of speculation.
The couple - who met backstage at a lingerie catwalk show in 2006 - are fiercely protective of their private lives.
But Miranda's publicist did tell a US publication this week that both families are excited about the prospect of a wedding.
