Rocket Man Sir Elton John takes a final bow in Las Vegas

After a five year run and 241 shows, Sir Elton John said goodbye to Las Vegas on Wednesday night. The 62-year-old singer performed his final show on the city's famous Caesars Palace, finally signing off with his hit Your Song.

Clad in a bright red shirt that matched his piano and a coat emblazoned with 'Las Vegas Pirates' on the back and 'Captain Elton' on the right sleeve, Elton, whose original run of 75 shows was extended due to demand – ran through his greatest hits, including Candle in the Wind, Rocket Man and Tiny Dancer.

"I really have enjoyed every single moment of this engagement," said the five-time Grammy winner.
