Having recently turned 34, Angelina Jolie has been taking stock of where she's going with her life. And the Hollywood actress has apparently decided she wants to get even more involved in making a difference to the world by stepping into politics.
The Salt actress, a UN ambassador for the past eight years, has become increasingly involved in humanitarian issues and is keen to get into politics, just like fellow actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, current Governor of California.
"Ange has admitted she's getting bored with Hollywood. She said she's now got her sights set on Washington," says a pal. "She is passionate about people's rights, war and justice and thinks she can get more hands-on and make more of a difference by getting into politics."
The friend continues: "She admires Obama and thinks she could make a big difference too if she were in his position."
