Eric Cantona to make stage debut as trapped man
Following his role playing himself in critically acclaimed Ken Loach film Looking for Eric, Eric Cantona is moving onto a new acting challenge.
The former footballer, who has appeared in several other films, is to make his stage debut in a play which is being directed by his wife Rachida Brakni.
In Face au Paradis or Faced With Paradise, Eric plays a man who is trapped in the rubble of a collapsed building.
The play opens in Paris this week.
