Tennis ace Martina Navratilova is the subject of a lawsuit from her former lover, who has filed a claim seeking millions of dollars after the former Wimbledon champion ended their eight year relationship "without warning".
"My life came crashing down," 56-year-old Toni Layton says in the lawsuit, which was filed in Florida this week. "I was kicked out into the streets with only the clothes on my back."
As well as reportedly locking her out of the six multi-million dollar homes they shared, Martina is alleged to have refused to return posessions which Toni claims belong to her alone, including six cars, a speedboat and two jetskis.
The lawsuit claims the couple - who married in an unofficial, private wedding ceremony - agreed to "evenly share (50 per cent/50 per cent) all funds and assets earned and obtained by either while together".
