Jude Law won't see his new baby for fear of media circus
While Jude Law has declared his commitment to being a good father to new daughter Sophia, born to a former girlfriend this week, he is unlikely to see the baby for at least three months.
"Sadly, Jude will not be able to see Sophia until he finishes work on Hamlet on Broadway in December," one of his friends told the Telegraph.
As well as being tied up with his theatre production, the heart-throb - who is known to be very protective when it comes to his children's privacy - is worried about provoking a media circus in Florida.
This is the home state of the little girl's mother model Samantha Burke, whom he dated briefly while making Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes.
Meanwhile Jude - who has three other youngsters – is expected to pay out more than £2million in maintenance payments for Sophia reports the Daily Mail.
These will include £5,000 in living expenses, plus school fees and medical bills.
