Camilla stops 'The Killing' actress dead in her tracks

The Duchess of Cornwall has made no secret of the fact that she's a fan of gritty Danish crime series, The Killing.

So she must've been excited to have met the programme's lead actress Sofie Grabol at a banquet held in the Danish royal palace.

Sofie – who plays meticulous detective Sarah Lund in the show – had traded in her character’s trademark fareose jumpers for a stunning sheer black gown. 

When the pair came face-to-face, Sofie gave a deep curtsey.

"It's a little bit fun, and really unexpected that they're fans," said the actress. "It's the ultimate proof that the series reaches a broad audience, both high and low".

On Tuesday, Camilla herself will venture onto the star's turf when she pays a visit to the show's set to meet the cast and crew.
