Adding his voice to the "oohs and aahs" echoing throughout the crowds at Wimbledon this weekend was US singer Justin Timberlake. Joining fellow fans to see pal Andy Roddick in his third round match against Austria's Jurgen Melzer, the SexyBack star was full of enthusiasm as he saw his friend take victory in four sets.
While his preferred sport is golf, the hunky US singer clearly enjoyed watching the action unfold, his eyes fixed on the on-court action and punching the air in triumph as Andy hit winning shots.
The action-packed outing may have been just the pick-up the 28-year-old needed after the sadness he expressed on Friday as he paid tribute to his long-term "idol" Michael Jackson.
"I can't find the words right now to express how deeply saddened I am by Michael's passing," he said. "The world has lost a genius and a true ambassador of not only pop music, but of all music."
Justin wasn't the only famous face soaking up the atmosphere of the All England Club this weekend. Presenters Terry Wogan and Trevor McDonald were spotted catching a glimpse of the action, as was regular tennis-enthusiast Sir Cliff Richard and Olympic champions Steven Redgrave and his rowing partner Matthew Pinsent.
