Lisa Marie reveals Michael's fear of dying like her dad Elvis

Michael Jackson's ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley has told of the star's fear that he'd die prematurely like her father.  

She recounted that in a conversation during their two-year-marriage, which touched on Elvis' death, the Thriller artist told her: "I am afraid that I am going to end up like him, the way he did."  
Writing on her MySpace blog, the legend's daughter describes how, in response to her attempts to soothe him, Michael just "shrugged his shoulders… as if to let me know, he knew what he knew and that was kind of that".  

Lisa Marie goes on to say she became "very ill and emotionally/ spiritually exhausted in my quest to save him from certain self-destructive behavior and from the awful vampires and leeches he surrounded himself with".  

In 1996 she called time on their union in "the hardest decision I ever made" for the sake of the children she had from a previous relationship.
