David Beckham and his eldest son Brooklyn, 12, were spotted hitting the Pacific Ocean waves this week.

The pair have displayed their love of the sea often in recent months - surfing, swimming and boogey-boarding outside of their Malibu home.

Romeo and Cruz, the star footballer's younger sons, looked on from the safety of the beach.

Mum Victoria  – who recently gave birth to daughter, Harper Seven – was relaxing in a beach house rented from Steven Spielberg.

Father of four David, 36, recently revealed that he's still adjusting to the idea of a baby girl.

"Having a daughter is a whole new thing... you have to be a lot more delicate with girls than with boys and I'm not used to that.

"So it's a whole new experience but it's an amazing experience" he said.
