'Typical woman driver' Katie Price's £1,000 driving fine

Model-turned-businesswoman Katie Price has been found guilty of not being in proper control of a vehicle.

Police had apparently spotted the mum of three talking on her mobile while driving her pink horsebox in West Sussex.

Thirty-two-year-old-year-old Katie – who was accompanied by husband Alex Reid to the proceedings – denied the charge.

She told the court: "I’m a typical woman driver.

"It’s a massive great lorry and I just wasn’t used to driving it".

Mid Sussex magistrates gave her three penalty points to add to seven already on her licence.

She was also fined £1,000 and ordered her to pay £700 costs.
