The Artist's Jean Dujardin has halted George Clooney's domination of this year's awards circuit, walking away with best actor at the SAG awards.
And the suave French newcomer peppered his victory with plenty of humour.
Whilst collecting his accolade, he revealed that his teachers dubbed him 'Jean of the moon', as he was a dreamer in class.
And more humour followed as he launched into a rendition the French national anthem, La Marseillaise, in a bid to avoid a question about his Oscar chances.
"That is my answer," he quipped to laughing reporters.
