Hip-hop star Sean Kingston is in critical condition in hospital after being injured in a jet ski accident on Sunday evening.

The Beautiful Girls singer had a female passenger on board his watercraft when it crashed into a bridge.

The pair were rescued by a passer-by, and are now being treated in a trauma ward for severe injuries.

Soon after his representative released a statement, celebrity fans tweeted their support and well-wishes.

Rihanna posted: "Sean we praying for u baby."

And Justin Bieber, who recently collaborated with the star, said: "got my friend @seankingston in my prayers tonight. a true friend and big bro. please keep him in your prayers tonight as well."
