If the smile on her face didn't give it away, then the huge rock on her finger might – Uma Thurman's engagement to Arpad Busson looks to be back on.

The Kill Bill beauty was spotted picking up her son Levon Roan from school in New York this week, and she was wearing her sizeable engagement ring on her left hand again.

News that her romance with 'Arki' might have been rekindled was first brought to attention on Tuesday when she was pictured kissing the multi-millionaire on a park bench in the Big Apple.

The love-struck pair looked blissfully happy as they embraced each other before walking off for a stroll through the city with their arms wrapped around each other.

Uma's reunion with the France-born financier comes two months after she called off their year-long engagement.

Twelve months after they began dating, Arki proposed to the 39-year-old mum-of-two with an eight plus-carat engagement ring.

There was speculation at the time that distance played a big factor in the actress' decision to end the relationship – he lives in London to be close to his two sons with Elle Macpherson, Flynn, 11, and Cy, 6, while she lives in New York so her son and daughter Maya can be close to their father, Ethan Hawke.

But if the public display of affection and the ring are anything to go by, it seems the happy couple are together again.
