20 APRIL 2010

According to her mum Carly Cole, one-month-old Ruby Tatiana is definitely going to be a daddy's girl.

And that's just fine with her father, footballer Joe Cole, who couldn't have looked prouder as he cradled his beautiful baby on a family day out this week.

The 28-year-old Chelsea star was every inch the doting dad as he held his tiny daughter outside the couple's West London home, even stopping to show off tiny Ruby to some neighbours.

Clearly totally enamoured with their baby daughter, Joe and his wife headed out earlier that day to a local park.

As well as pushing the newborn's pram, the sportsman was seen pulling his wife in close as they took a stroll together.

Carly, who gave birth to Ruby on March 18 in London, revealed exclusively to HELLO! this week that her husband was a great support to her during her 16-hour labour. And as a thank you, the 25-year-old brunette, who wed Joe in July 2009, decided to let Joe name their first-born.

She also revealed that the England star is already a keen, hands-on father who "likes to do at least two nappies a day and wants to do his fair share."

"He loves being a dad and wants to do as much as he can," Carly shared. "He's more of a worrier than me and I think he'll be really protective."
