Seventeen-year-old model Elizabeth Jagger is thrilled to have been approached by cosmetics giant Lancome to front their new line of products aimed at the next generation.

“Lancome are looking for a new face and they have come to me,” says the Betsey Johnson runway model. “We’ll have to wait and see but I’d really love the job.”

The daughter of Rolling Stones idol Mick Jagger and the lovely Jerry Hall, Elizabeth left school last year to focus on a modelling career and is now poised to take a major step forward. She’s also lensed her first acting role alongside Hollywood heavyweight Susan Sarandon in the indie film Igby Goes Down.

Lancome first approached the Phantom Menace star and Harvard co-ed Natalie Portman, but the 20-year-old is not considering the campaign.
