Everyone knows that a surefire way to see the sexiest in swimwear is to take a look at the sizzling catwalks of Brazil. And now one designer in the South American country, long famed for exporting the sultriest of supermodels, has put a decidedly risque spin on another fashion staple.

Daring denim was the name of the day for Zoomp's spring-summer 2006 collection, paraded by a host of ultra-toned models at Sao Paulo fashion week on Wednesday. A string of designs – for both men and women – were biker-meets-bikini, with skin-tight silhouettes and naughty cutouts leaving little to the imagination.

And talk about down-and-dirty dungarees – check out Zoomp's skimpy twist on workmen's overalls: braces-style hotpants worn with a transparent top.

Sao Paulo fashion week continues until July 4.
